A cycling event made by women for women. To celebrate the International Women's Day on Saturday 5^th March, UAE Team ADQ is promoting an event of sport, culture and entertainment, just for women, at Al Hudayriat Island (Abu Dhabi).

It will also be the occasion for the national launch of the UAE's new and first women's pro cycling team, which is already achieving significant sporting results on roads around the world.
A team with many identities and a great ambition, a project that was born to inspire the female community in the UAE to ride, aiming to develop heroines through cycling. This event is also aimed at the Abu Dhabi women’s community.

Among the many guests at the event will be some of the UAE Team ADQ cyclists who will reach Abu Dhabi today together with General Manager Rubens Bertogliati. Italians Alessia Patuelli, Laura Tomasi, Anna Trevisi and Safiya Alsayegh, the first female professional cyclist in UAE history. Joining them will be Melissa Moncada, Head of the team at UAE Team ADQ, who extending the invitation to be part to all female community of the country.

The day will offer different types of activities: Yoga, Workshop – Welcome to cycling by Wolfis, DJ live and music, streaming, Indoor cycling experience by Storm and different types of outdoor cycling experiences by #SheRides.
A special occasion for all ladies in the Emirates, for women's sport and also for the girls in our team.
